May 6-7 | Hilton Arden West Sacramento
May 8 is Capitol Action Day!
Every two years, CAFB brings together the anti-hunger community to share learnings, build community, and address the hunger crisis in California. This conference brings together members from throughout California and beyond, and from all sectors of the community — food bankers, policymakers, growers, distributors, public servants — united in a shared vision of a hunger-free California.
For two days attendees will:
- Create cross-sector connections
Build skills in emergency response, policy advocacy, client services, and organizational development
- Examine the relationship between hunger, poverty, health, and wellbeing
- Promote innovative solutions for addressing hunger and nutrition
- Explore the impact of current legislation on hunger (with a focus on immigration policies)
