Every two years, CAFB holds a skills-building conference for its membership and the anti-hunger community. CAFB’s conference offers attendees the unique opportunity to:
- Network with food bankers and important partners;
- Build skills for emergency food delivery, advocacy, and client service;
- Explore the connections between hunger, poverty, and health; and
- Develop innovative solutions for addressing hunger and nutrition.

For CAFB members: what is Legislative Day? The California Association of Food Banks hosts a Legislative Day each year at the State Capitol in Sacramento. Legislative Day is an important opportunity to educate state legislators about hunger in their districts and the work food banks are doing to help. The 2017 Legislative Day will be held on Wednesday, May 3.
