Every two years, CAFB holds a skills-building conference for its membership and the anti-hunger community. CAFB’s conference offers attendees the unique opportunity to:
- Network with food bankers and important partners;
- Build skills for emergency food delivery, advocacy, and client service;
- Explore the connections between hunger, poverty, and health; and
- Develop innovative solutions for addressing hunger and nutrition.
In 2015, nearly 300 stakeholders from food banks, pantries, government agencies, advocacy organizations, businesses, foundations, and healthcare providers convened for two days of networking, workshops, and speakers focused on building a healthy, hunger-free California. You can take a look at the materials from the 2015 conference here and read the full report here.
Legislative Day is on May 3; sign up here.
