Maria joined CAFB in the fall of 2021. Her finance career unfolded at a previous job where she was working as an administrative assistant. After being assigned to assist the accounting department, she became intrigued and decided she’d focus her studies in Business Accounting. Born and raised in Oakland, she grew up seeing the struggles a lot of people went through for food. When given the opportunity to merge the fight for hunger and her accounting career at CAFB, she took it.
Maria enjoys spending time with family and walking the many trails the Bay Area has to offer. And of course, her Frenchie Milo comes along with her.
