Kellie joined CAFB in 2023 after serving as the Deputy Director for Government Relations at the Public Policy Institute of California, where she amplified the work of the California Poverty Measure. Kellie also worked for the Office of Congresswoman Doris Matsui, the California Office of Data & Innovation—and, at the beginning of her career, volunteered at the Central California Food Bank supporting the Feeding America Hunger Study. Kellie’s role prioritizes solutions that address hunger’s root causes and creates policy solutions for operational challenges faced by California food banks.
Kellie holds a BA in Sociology and an MS in Rehabilitation Counseling from California State University, Fresno.
