Doug came to CAFB in 2021 to assist in a development strategy that advances hunger awareness, advocacy, and action. For several years, Doug has spearheaded grant writing and fundraising programs — both in-house and as an independent consultant. Prior to joining CAFB, he focused his efforts on essential service provision, medical insurance provision for marginalized communities, civic engagement, and education.
He holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Missouri-Rolla. He lives in San Jose with his wife, is a Cat-Dad, reads more than is healthy, and loves poker.
