Becky joined CAFB in 2018 and leads CAFB’s public policy team, pursuing policy changes and budget investments with the goal of ending hunger in California through state and federal legislation, budget advocacy, and administrative fixes to streamline anti-hunger programs. She previously worked at the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, and as an Ameri-Corps volunteer with the Cooking Matters program at Foodlink in upstate NY.
She has significant statewide and local expertise in CalFresh policy, and currently leads a CalFresh coalition of statewide advocates, application assisters, and public benefits attorneys. Becky has a BA in Urban Studies and Planning from UC San Diego, and an MA in City and Regional Planning from Cornell University.
Her favorite food? Noodles — especially Ramen.
