Wilken joined the CAFB team in 2022, bringing over 35 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management. He has sourced everything from ice cream to baby clothes to pet apparel. Prior to joining CAFB, Wilken served as the Associate Director of Supply Chain for the Alameda County Community Food Bank for a decade. His recent procurement work with BIPOC produce providers complements the movement towards building partnerships with underserved farmers.
A Bay Area native, Wilken attended the University of CA at Berkeley and still bleeds Oski blue. Wilken was in the Chinese New Year’s parade twice — once by accident!
His favorite food? Nigiri Sushi, Schwarma, and Vietnamese Rice Plates.
