Sergio joined the CAFB Member Services team in 2021. Before coming to CAFB, Sergio worked on the outreach team for Second Harvest of Silicon Valley where he connected community members to CalFresh and free grocery programs, as well as helped outside organizations develop their outreach infrastructure. Sergio joined CAFB to address economic justice throughout the state through food assistance.
He holds a Master’s degree from the University of San Francisco in Urban and Public Affairs. He is from San Jose and enjoys playing bass and synth.
His favorite food? Buffalo Wings.
