Paul has been with CAFB for over a decade working primarily on our partnership with the California Department of Social Services to assist eligible Californians with applying for CalFresh benefits. Our contract with the State of California began as a pilot program utilizing a few hundred thousand dollars to see if the partnership could be effective and efficient. It has since grown exponentially and we now secure millions of dollars each year to help CAFB’s member food banks do this vital CalFresh outreach work.
Also, Paul is a drummer in a few bands around Sacramento.
His favorite food? Fried chicken and beets.
