Maria joined CAFB in 2021 and leads charitable food programs, including the Farm to Family food recovery and redistribution program and procurement for our subsidized commodity programs. She has an extensive background in food banking and supply chain/logistics, as well as with industry associations. During her 11 years at Feeding America, she led several innovative projects helping the organization grow its impact across the country. Most recently, she comes from Vision Share, a coalition of Eye Banks, as a Distribution Director/Program Manager. She completed her PMP certification in 2019. She holds a degree in Transportation from Mississippi State University. She lives in the East Bay with her husband, daughter and two dachshunds.
