New additions to Farm to Family Team

August 23, 2018

Welcome to Caroline and Malou, Farm to Family’s latest additions. Read on to learn more about CAFB’s new hunger fighters.

Caroline Chow, Sales & Procurement Administrator

Caroline comes to CAFB from Alameda County Community Food Bank, where she was the Food Resources Development Coordinator for the past three years.  In her role, she worked with local food donors from the food industry, as well as many of ACCFB’s partner agencies, and also served as the primary back-up to the warehouse receiver. She is excited to join CAFB because she’ll be able to continue working with her colleagues at NorCal food banks and also get to know food banks and food bankers throughout California. After hours, Caroline enjoys baking/cooking/eating, boxing (stress relief, anyone?) and masters swimming, and Oakland A’s baseball.

Malou Uprichard, Farm to Family Coordinator

Malou comes to CAFB with over 15 years of experience in retail purchasing. After embarking on a two-year sabbatical to England with her family, Malou decided to pursue her passion for non-profit work. Her extensive logistics background made her a perfect fit to jump right into the Farm to Family Coordinator position. She’s looking forward to working hard on behalf of all of our partners and getting to know everyone along the way. She has a 6-year-old dachshund who’s a 2-time back surgery survivor. “He’s my little hot dog hero,” says Malou.

Please feel free to reach out to both Caroline and Malou any time with your non-produce needs, or just to say hello.
