Don’t let an email scam catch you unaware! Feeding America shared that an individual contacted one of their member agencies,claiming that he had a food order delivery arranged by the food bank. The person asked the agency to arrange pre payment for the shipment. The email looked valid, as it included pictures taken from food bank websites. The agency contacted the authorities and Feeding America’s legal counsel took action. When in doubt, verify orders, especially those requesting payment in advance.
