Update on Food for Wildfire Victims

In response to California’s Camp and Woolsey Fires, CDSS has received federal approval for the following CalFresh: 

Disaster CalFresh has been approved for people who lived or worked in the in the following locations when the fires started: 

 

Automatic Mass Replacement Benefits have been approved for the following locations:

 

Automatic Disaster Supplements for ongoing CalFresh households have been approved in the following locations: 

    • Butte County
      • Zip Codes: 95916, 95928, 95942, 95954, 95965, 95966, 95969, and 95978
    • Los Angeles County
      • Zip Codes: 90263, 90290, 90265, 91302, 90264, 91012, 91301, 91304, 91307, 91361, 91362, and 91372
    • Ventura County
      • Zip Codes: 91377, 91320, 91361, 91362, 93012, 93042, and 93065

 

Timely Reporting of Food Loss Waiver has been approved for the following locations:

    • Butte, Ventura, and Los Angeles counties
      • The Timely Reporting Waiver will allow households in these affected counties to make a request for replacement of CalFresh benefits through December 10, 2018. These replacement CalFresh benefits will allow households to replace food lost due to power outages and evacuations resulting from the Camp and Woolsey Fires.
