Disaster CalFresh in Butte, Ventura & Los Angeles Counties

Disaster CalFresh has been approved for Los Angeles, Ventura, and Butte counties. Applications are now open in Los Angeles and Ventura, and will open in Butte next week. California Association of Food Banks encourages everyone with a connection to these counties to help spread the word as quickly as possible, given the limited application windows.

 

Los Angeles County & Ventura County

Applications for Disaster CalFresh in Los Angeles County and Ventura County will continue to be accepted through tomorrow December 7.

Remember that even those individuals and families who are not eligible for regular CalFresh may qualify for Disaster CalFresh if they:

• Lived or worked in Los Angeles County in the following zip codes 90263, 90264, 90265, 90290, 91012, 91301, 91302, 91304, 91307, 91311, 91361, 91362, 91372 on November 8;

OR

• Lived or worked in Ventura County in the following zip codes 91320, 91361, 91362, 91377, 93012, 93042, 93065 on November 8;

AND

• Incurred disaster-related expenses; or

• Experienced a disruption in income; or

• Had damage to your home or self-employment property; or

• Experienced food loss as a result of the fire or related power outages; and

• Are not already receiving CalFresh food assistance

Butte County

Applications for D-CalFresh in Butte County will be accepted December 12-14 and December 17-20.

• Lived or worked in Butte County on November 8;

AND

• Incurred disaster-related expenses; or

• Experienced a disruption in income; or

• Had damage to your home or self-employment property; or

• Experienced food loss as a result of the fire or related power outages; and

• Are not already receiving CalFresh food assistance
