Resources for CalFresh COLA

Beginning October 1, 2018, new CalFresh income guidelines will be in effect. If an applicant applied in the past but was denied for being slightly over income, they should consider reapplying in October. The SNAP/CalFresh COLA will be implemented October 1, 2018. CalFresh recipients may see a slight increase in their benefit amounts.

Resources and materials:

  • Fact sheet
  • Client flyer in English and Spanish

Please consider customizing the flyers with your local information before disseminating them:

  • If you are a food bank, I recommend you replace CAFB's phone number and website with your food bank's phone number and website.

  • If you are not a food bank, contact your county food bank to let them know you want to put their phone number and website on this flyer to refer clients to them.
